Hello! I'm Quill, and this is my Carrd.
You can use any pronouns on me, I don't mind.
I'm 20, born in 2004 (in case I forget to update this), and Asian (Indian Hong Konger).
I take on a lot of creative endeavours, but mostly, I write and draw.

Some things you should know.

  • I'm not the best at reaching out, but if you want to be friends, just DM me! I'm friendly, I promise.

  • If you consider us friends, I probably already do.

  • I post a lot of teasers and previews for fics!

  • I try to use tone indicators when I remember, but everything I say is meant to be lighthearted and friendly unless I specifically say otherwise.

  • FUB free! I don't mind if you follow, unfollow, or block me at your will.

  • If I do something or say something that upsets you, please tell me.

  • If we're mutuals and you want me to tag stuff, let me know!

  • Don't expect me to follow back if you mainly talk about Voltron, Minecraft YouTube (MCYT) or Genshin. Current mutuals are fine, but they're not things I'm particularly fond of online communities for.

  • Overall, I'm pretty chill about stuff. There's not a whole lot to say.

  • With regard to kinning, know I don't take it extremely seriously. It's just me saying "yeah I relate to X character for Y reason" and that's that on that.

  • Ideally, if we're mutuals, I would really like if you could tag things such as drowning, confinement scenarios, and animal harm mentions. My catchall is "quill don't look" (twitter, tumblr)! Note that you don't really have to, but it would be nice.

  • I likely have ADHD (official diagnosis pending), so um. yeah bear with me lol

  • You promote/support/fetishise rape, incest, paedophilia, ephebophilia, etc.

  • You value the well-being of fictional characters/entities over actual human beings or think that dark content legitimately mirrors the beliefs/preferences of its creators.

  • Not quite DNI criteria, but I'll probably try to keep my distance if you're the type to take kinning extremely seriously (no doubles kins; insisting you are the character, regardless of whether I also kin them or not). A little more on kinning in the segment attached to the button below.

Regarding kinning:As I said, I personally don't take kinning extremely seriously, and probably won't follow you back if you do, to the extent of being a no doubles kinnie, or if you want me to treat a you as said character and vice-versa. This is regardless of whether or not you kin the same characters as me. It's not personal, and of course, this will go by a case-by-case basis.If I'm currently following you and this applies to you, I'd prefer it if you spoilered talk about the above for me, or avoided conversation about it altogether.On a similar note, please do not think of me as the characters I kin and the other way around. My Interests

Currently, my main interests are the Persona series and A3!, but I do retweet a lot of stuff I'm interested in!

I game a lot (and sometimes I stream them!) so I have a pretty large variety in taste, but I don't often talk about a lot of them off stream. As I've said, I enjoy the Persona series and End Roll is an all-time favourite of mine, but I also quite like all brands of RPG Maker games, visual novels, and mystery games. Hit me up with recs if you have any!

My favourite is Death Note! I don't talk about other things as much, so it depends on what I'm watching at the time. That said, please don't talk to me about Lawlight.

I also play a lot of otome/joseimuke games. Like I said, A3! is one of my main interests, but I'm also really into Tears of Themis, and I play CYBIRD and Shall We Date? games sometimes. I like idol series a lot too, with UtaPri being my favourite, and I'm getting into iDOLISH7 and Project Sekai, but again, I don't really talk too much about them.

In terms of books/novels, I'll read just about anything! That's a lie, I'm such a picky reader. I have a childhood fondness for Rick Riordan's books, but I'm willing to give anything a try.

Of course, Persona has been the series that I really got into writing for. So, because of that, here's a few things you should know!

  1. My main ships are shuakeshu (5) and tatsujun (2). I will not entertain discourse of any kind about them. I also do talk and write about them a lot, so if you don't like them, block and move on.

  2. Leading on from that, I have a strong fondness for the TatsuJun are Akiren's parents headcanon. I tend to use it a lot in my works, whether implied or explicitly.

  3. I lean heavily into the "Wakaba Isshiki Experimented on Akechi" theory, and I use it in almost all my works.

  4. I also lean extremely heavily into the headcanon that Goro and Futaba are half-siblings, and it is implied if not stated in all my works.

  5. I am personally very uncomfortable with ships involving the series' teenagers with its adults. This includes TatsuMaya, as well as any of the protagonists with adult social links or confidants.

  6. Additionally, I'm not one for shumako/shutaba at all. I won't write/draw for them or talk about them in romantic context.

Other than that, there's not a whole lot to know! I've posted my Persona fics on AO3, and I've participated in a few zines and big bangs as well. You can see them linked from my main page.

A3! - Act! Addict! Actors!

Honestly, this one being so important to me was a surprise to me too! I got into it initially around the time the EN app launched (so, October 2019), but after reading the Act 1 Main Story, I took a break for a bit over a year until around March of 2021.At that point, I had the app on my phone and figured, "well, why not?" and opened it again, only to find out that there had been a bunch going on in the time I had gone. So, I caught up and fell in love with the game and its found family storyline all over again.

Admittedly, I haven't talked too much about it on my main account, but that's because I've created a separate Twitter @ chigasakism and Tumblr @ chigasakism to do so!I'm definitely more talkative about the series on there, as well as the game and how I've been playing it. I tend to braindump a lot, too, so that's something to look forward to!

As per the series itself, I should probably talk about a few things . . .

  1. My favourite characters are the Spring Troupe adults if that wasn't obvious enough.

  2. After them come Taichi, Tsumugi, Banri, Hisoka, and Tenma. I love all the characters dearly, though.

  3. I love exploring the dynamics between characters, not only with romance, but with their familial and friendly bonds too!

  4. I'm a sucker for Gekkagumi. I Will Cry if you talk to me about them.

  5. I love Konomi Chigasaki. That's my wife.

  6. When it comes to ships, I'm pretty open to most ships and rarepairs! I'm pretty easily convinced, admittedly. Though, there are a few that make me uncomfortable, and I prefer to not engage with them. Nothing personal!

Commissions

My commissions are open right now! I'm taking commissions for both writing and art, with details as follows.

Writing

General rules for my writing commissions are as follows:

  • Please DM me before or when commissioning me to discuss details with me.

  • Word counts will be agreed upon beforehand, especially for oneshots. However, if I go over the agreed word count, it will be at no extra cost.

  • All payment will be upfront, but feel free to DM me to check on progress if you feel the need.

  • I reserve the right to decline any commission request.

  • All fanfic commissions will be uploaded to AO3 as a gift work unless you request otherwise.

  • I will not take NSFW commissions unless we're already friends.

  • No NSFW of characters under 18.

  • Currently, I'm not planning on taking commissions for OC content I'm not familiar with, but if you would like me to write an original character of yours in a fic, please explain what they are like in thorough detail to me in DMs.

DrabblesDrabble commissions are always open! These will always be 500 words or less* and are for 40 HKD (5 USD). Generally, these won't be plot-heavy and will involve anywhere between one and three characters.OneshotsOneshot commissions range from 500 to 2500+ words* and can be extended at the will of the commissioner for 1 USD per 100 words. These will not have a set limit on characters and the general idea/plotline for the story must be discussed through direct message beforehand.LongficsCurrently, I have no plans to take commissions for longfics (more than 10k words).* Again, all these word counts are non-negotiable once decided upon, but if I go over the agreed word count of my own volition, it will be at no added charge.

The simplified ones are for $3 USD each, while the more detailed/slightly more proportioned ones, including hands, come to $9 USD.SketchesA simple, clean sketch including 1 or 2 characters and a simple sketched background.
